Catch-all Emails
What is a catch-all e-mail account? How does it work? How do you configure this type of account?
A catch-all feature that is activated for a particular email mailbox will allow you to receive email messages that are sent to addresses that do not really exist. Otherwise put, if you disable an email address and someone still sends an email to it, or to any mistyped address under the same domain name, you’ll get the message in the catch-all mailbox. Using this feature implies that you won’t miss an email for any reason whatsoever, which could be vital if you run a company, for example. Since you may start receiving unsolicited emails, you can combine the catch-all feature with email filters in order to receive only real email messages in your inbox. Just one mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for a catch-all mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Shared Website Hosting
Setting up a catch-all email mailbox will be quite easy in case you have a shared website hosting plan with us. You can enable the feature through our powerful, albeit simple-to-work-with Email Manager, which is an indivisible part of the Hepsia hosting Control Panel, via which you’ll manage your shared web hosting account. You’ll see all the email addresses that you have set up displayed alphabetically and on the right side of each one of them there will be a small "Catch-all" icon, which will instantaneously inform you whether a certain mailbox gets all the email messages associated with a certain domain name or not. With a single mouse click on the icon you can enable or disable this feature whenever you wish. In case there’s enabled email forwarding or if a different mailbox has already been configured as a catch-all one for a certain domain name, you will get a warning message from our system. The latter won’t replace/deactivate anything automatically and without your approval.
- Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers
You’ll be able to set up a catch-all address with no more than one click in case you have a Linux semi-dedicated server with us and your emails are handled by our cloud platform. All the mailboxes that you set up with any domain name hosted in your semi-dedicated hosting account will be shown in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. Each of them will have a tiny "Catch-all" icon next to it, so all it will take to enable this option will be to click that icon. In the very same fashion you’ll be able to turn off the feature, if you do not need it anymore. Our system will warn you in case you are attempting to enable a second catch-all email address for a specific domain or if there’s activated email forwarding, but it will never deactivate or change anything automatically or without your approval. - Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers
